Annie Shultz

Annie Shultz currently serves as the Director of Marketing & Communications at Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason, a position held since September 2014, where previous roles included Program Manager for the Diabetes TrialNet Hub and Project Manager for Outreach & Recruitment. Prior to this, Annie worked at JDRF as Regional Marketing Manager from 2011 to 2014 and held the position of Outreach & Marketing Manager at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation from October 2011 to July 2012. Annie’s experience also includes serving as Senior Director of Marketing and Community Development for the Tacoma Rainiers from October 2008 to October 2011 and Director of Customer Service and Special Projects from January 2007 to October 2008. Earlier in career, Annie was the Director of Student Services at Sports Management Worldwide, from June 2004 to February 2007. Annie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Oregon State University, attained from 2001 to 2004.
