Brian Maloney

Brian Maloney is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in security data engineering and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Security Data Engineering at Benchling since August 2021, Brian focuses on optimizing security detection and response through effective data management. Prior roles include Security Data Engineer at Virginia Tech and Solutions Architect at Block.one, where Brian led the development of a multi-cloud hosting platform for EOSIO blockchain technology. Additional experience encompasses positions as Lead Security Engineer at Salesforce, Data Center Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer at Virginia Tech Transportation Institute, and various systems administration roles across multiple organizations. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
