Kate Schroeder is a Senior Project Manager at Genentech, currently leading projects in the Advanced Cell Engineering group. With a strong foundation in biotechnology from experiences at Genencor International, as a Scientist II, and subsequent roles at various pharmaceutical companies, including Bristol-Myers Squibb and Nektar Therapeutics, Kate has demonstrated expertise in project management and streamlining processes. Kate holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology and is also pursuing a B.A. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology from Wesleyan University, along with studies at the University of Sydney.
