Warren Herrera

Warren Herrera has a diverse work experience spanning different roles in the field of information technology. Warren currently serves as the Information Technology Operations Lead at Benchling since August 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Information Technology Support Engineer at Benchling from September 2021 to August 2023 and Information Technology Support Engineer from June 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining Benchling, Warren worked at Eventbrite where they served as the Technical Manager, Onsite Business from April 2018 to April 2020, and as a Network Field Technician from July 2016 to April 2018.

Additionally, Warren worked at Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District as a Technology Trainer from September 2011 to June 2016. In this role, they provided training and support in the integration of advanced technologies for 2,000 employees. Warren also implemented a standardized system for registering and tracking professional development.

Furthermore, Warren gained experience as an Implementation Engineer at EMC from September 2010 to September 2011, where they provided installation and implementation support for EMC products and customer sites.

Earlier in their career, Warren worked as a Network Technician I at Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District from October 2006 to September 2010 and as a Geek Squad member at Best Buy from November 2001 to October 2006.

Warren Herrera holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Information Technology from Heald College-Concord from 2002 to 2004. Additionally, they have certifications in Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance, as well as ITIL Foundation Level from Dell EMC.
