Powers Schurrer

Powers Schurrer, CPA, MBA, currently serves as Director of Accounting at BENCHMADE, a position held since January 2020, following roles as Controller and Associate Controller. Prior experience includes serving as Assurance Senior and Assurance Staff at Moss Adams from October 2016 to December 2019, and as a Revenue Team Member at National Research Corporation, where responsibilities included revenue calculations and monitoring state income tax requirements. Powers also completed an internship at BKD CPAs & Advisors, focusing on auditing and client interactions, and held bookkeeping and internship positions at St. Mark's on the Campus Episcopal Church and Wohlenberg Ritzman & Co., LLC, respectively. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the same institution, with additional study at the University of Oxford.
