Dominic Stobart's most recent work experience is as the Vice President of Creative Services at Benchmark Education Company, a role they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Creative Director for Digital Media at the same company from January 2020 to July 2021.
Before joining Benchmark Education, Dominic worked at Optomen Television, starting as a Freelance Series Producer in June 2005. Dominic then held various roles including Series Producer, Executive Producer, and eventually became the SVP Programming from January 2010 to January 2020.
In their role at Optomen Television, Dominic was responsible for overseeing non-fiction output, generating program ideas, and managing a large production team. Dominic played a key role in winning more than 200 hours of original non-scripted commissions, and their credits include well-known shows such as "Monsters Inside Me," "When Sharks Attack," and "Mysteries at the Museum," among others.
Dominic Stobart began their education in 1990, when they attended Central St Martins College of Art & Design. Dominic completed a Foundation diploma in Visual Art during their time there, which lasted until 1991. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Exeter in 1992 and graduated in 1995. Dominic obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American Arts with Spanish.
