Zach Klassen

Zach Klassen is a skilled optical engineer with extensive experience in the field of optical and product design. Currently serving as a Staff Optical Engineer at Benchmark since February 2022, Zach previously held positions as a Product Design Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace and a PQA Engineering Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Zach's background includes a graduate internship at the University of Oregon, where collaboration with the Stowers Institute led to advancements in light sheet microscopy. Further experience includes roles as an Integration Technician at Leeds Forensic Systems, an Apprentice Plumber at Klassen Mechanical, and various positions in sales support and tutoring. Zach holds a Master of Science in Applied Physics from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from the University of Minnesota Morris.
