Benchmark Energy
Kirk Goehring has held various positions in different companies starting from their roles as an Investment Banking Analyst at Bear Stearns & Co. and Greenhill & Co. to their career in private equity as a Private Equity Associate at Metalmark Capital. Kirk then moved to Jones Energy, where they became the Asset Manager of Western Anadarko and served as the Director of Corporate Strategy and Development. Later, they were appointed as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer before they left in 2020. In 2021, they joined Benchmark Energy, LLC as the Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in September 2022.
Kirk Goehring attended The Potomac School from 1990 to 1999, followed by Landon School from 2000 to 2003 where they did not earn a degree or major in any field of study. From 2003 to 2007, they then attended the Texas McCombs School of Business where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on the Business Honors Program.
