Tonya Bankhead

Tonya Bankhead is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and social services. Currently serving as a Therapeutic Support Specialist at Benchmark Family Services since May 2018, Tonya has previously held the position of Lead Faculty in Criminal Justice at EDMC from February 2015 to April 2018, where responsibilities included department chair functions. Additionally, Tonya was an Adjunct Faculty Member at Brown Mackie College from April 2009 to April 2018, teaching Criminal Justice courses. Previous roles include serving as an Eligibility Specialist at Xerox, assisting welfare clients, and working as a Family Case Manager for the Department of Children and Families, focusing on child protection. Tonya holds a Master's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections, both from Trine University-Fort Wayne Regional Campus.
