Middle School Head Teacher at Benchmark School

Alex Templeton has a diverse range of work experience. They began their career in 2003 as a Teacher for Breakthrough Collaborative and later worked as a Salesperson for Rizzoli International Publications. From 2005 to 2010, Templeton served as a Teacher at Winston Preparatory School. They then worked as a Substitute Teacher at Germantown Academy from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, Templeton became a Senior Camp Reading Specialist at ESF, Inc. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as an Adjunct Writing Tutor at Chestnut Hill College. Templeton also had a short-term role as a Student Teacher at St. Genevieve School in 2013. They joined The School District of Philadelphia as a Teacher in 2014, and in 2015, they became a Middle School Co-Teacher at Benchmark School. In 2008, they enrolled in Bank Street College of Education, although no specific degree or field of study was provided. Later, in 2012, Alex pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree specialized in Middle Level Education at Chestnut Hill College. This level of education and specialization suggests a focus on teaching grade levels 4-8. In February 2014, Alex obtained the Pennsylvania Instructional I Certification for Grades 4-6 All Subjects and Grades 7-8 English from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
