Colin Waddell has a long and varied work experience. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Engineer at IDEAS Engineering, where they were brought in mid-project to see a plant monitoring system. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at AAC Clyde Space as a Software Architect and Embedded Engineer. In 2014, they also founded Taps-Aff.co.uk, Glasgow's premier weather website, which now receives 1 million hits per year. In 2020, they joined pour as Chief Technology Officer.

Colin Waddell attended Larbert High School from 1996 to 2002. Colin then went on to study Microcomputer Systems Engineering at the University of Glasgow from 2002 to 2006, specializing in microcontrollers, hardware design, software engineering and data analysis. Colin also holds a certification in First Aid in the Work Place.
