Guðbjörg Oddný Jónasdóttir

Guðbjörg Oddný Jónasdóttir has extensive experience in local government and communications. Since May 2018, Guðbjörg holds the position of Varabæjarfulltrúi in the Hafnarfjörður City Council and serves as the Chair of the Cultural and Tourism Committee, as well as a representative on the Family Council. Additionally, Guðbjörg has been working as an Executive Assistant and Communications professional at Benchmark Genetics Iceland since January 2016. Prior roles include serving as a Specialist at Íslandsbanki from June 2012 to December 2013 and completing an internship at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Iceland in 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Relations from Háskóli Íslands and Florida International University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Bifröst University.
