Doug Lord

Doug Lord is a seasoned hospitality executive currently serving as the General Manager of Chaminade Resort & Spa at Benchmark, Pyramid Luxury & Lifestyle since August 2022. Formerly, Doug held the position of Regional Vice President West at Great Wolf Lodge, overseeing five lodges and guiding the organization through the pandemic. Doug has extensive experience at Walt Disney World, where key roles included General Manager of Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, Director of Workforce Management and Operations Training, and General Manager of Water Parks and Miniature Golf, among others. Doug's leadership in these roles contributed to significant business turnarounds, operational efficiencies, and increased profitability across multiple high-attendance venues. Doug holds a Master’s degree in Hospitality with a focus on Operations Management and Real Estate Finance from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
