Mark Kontny has extensive experience in the hotel industry, spanning over two decades. Mark started their career as a Senior Sales Manager at Lansdowne Resort and Spa, where they were responsible for individual sales, territory growth, and training new sales managers. After that, they joined The Founders Inn and Spa as the Director of Sales and Marketing, where they introduced conference package pricing and increased the Average Daily Rate. Mark then moved on to North Maple Inn at Basking Ridge, where they served as the Associate Director of Sales & Marketing, achieving the highest Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) and exceeding sales goals. Currently, Mark is working at BENCHMARK, A Global Hospitality Company as a Task Force Director of Sales, providing mentorship and training to new Directors of Sales & Marketing.

Mark Kontny has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism & Mass Communications from the University of Northern Colorado. Mark also holds a Certificate of Completion in Visual and Performing Arts from Up With People, a non-profit organization.
