Tom Cupo

Tom Cupo has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, with various leadership roles spanning multiple companies. Tom began their career in 2000 as the Director of Operations at The Chattanoogan hotel and conference center. From 2004 to 2005, they served as the General Manager at Benchmark Hospitality. Tom then moved on to serve as the General Manager at Virginia Crossings Resort from 2005 to 2008. Subsequently, they took on the role of General Manager at The Chattanoogan Hotel and Conference Center from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, they became the Regional Managing Director at Inn at Virginia Tech, and concurrently took on the position of Regional Managing Director at Stonewall Resort for a brief period in 2013. In 2017, they became the Area General Manager at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. In 2019, they joined BENCHMARK, A Global Hospitality Company as a Managing Director. Finally, in 2022, they became the Managing Director at Benchmark Resorts and Hotels, where they currently hold the position.

Tom Cupo attended Hawthorne school but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Tom obtained a certification as a Volunteer from Southern Vermont College in 2020.
