Alex Riley is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in data engineering and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at BenchSci since November 2022, Alex is focused on designing and building data pipeline tooling and infrastructure to support Machine Learning and Data Engineering teams. Previously, Alex held the position of Senior Scientific Programmer at Healx, orchestrating and scaling ML and bioinformatics pipelines. Early career experiences include working as a Press Assistant at Alzheimer's Society and as Food Sourcing Manager at FoodCycle. Alex holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Bristol.
