David Granatstein

David Granatstein, CIPP/C, has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. David is currently the Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance at BenchSci. Prior to this, David worked as a Principal at Tempo Consultants, specializing in marketing and privacy consulting. David also served as a Senior Manager at Deloitte Canada, focusing on modeling and value advisory. Additionally, David held roles such as Senior Director at BIMM, Director of Business Solutions at Klick Health, and Account Director at The Cornerstone Group of Companies. David has also worked as a Marketing Manager at George Brown College, a Marketing Project Manager at Scotiabank, and a Senior Business Analyst at The Loyalty Group. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in marketing, data analysis, customer relationship management, privacy, and strategic planning.

David Granatstein, CIPP/C obtained a Diploma in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2001. David also completed the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute in the same year. In 2000, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University. In 2022, David pursued Reconciliation Education Courses focusing on the 4 Seasons of Reconciliation at the First Nations University of Canada. In 2023, they obtained a Certificate in Risk Management from York University. Additionally, in 2024, they obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Canada (CIPP/C) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
