Porya Rajabi

Porya Rajabi has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Porya started their career at Epson as a Software Developer, where they developed graphical software for electronic devices. They then moved on to work at Adastra as a Data Warehouse Consultant, providing business intelligence and data warehousing services.

In 2009, Porya joined the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), where they held multiple roles including Manager, Quality Assurance and Senior Project Manager. As a Manager, Quality Assurance, Porya was responsible for the overall QA and UAT test strategy for Data Warehouse initiatives. As a Senior Project Manager, they led a cross-functional team to create the Your Health System website.

Porya's next venture was at BenchSci, where they joined as an Engineering Manager, Platform. They quickly progressed and took on roles of increasing responsibility, including Director of Engineering, Web Applications and Senior Director of Engineering, Web Applications & Platform Delivery. Currently, Porya holds the position of Senior Director of Engineering, Commercial Products at BenchSci.

Throughout their career, Porya has demonstrated skills in leadership, strategic planning, product management, and delivering new features. They have also been involved in hiring, training, and creating comprehensive methodologies and artifacts within their teams.

From 2002 to 2006, Porya Rajabi attended the University of Toronto and completed a Bachelor of Computer Engineering with Honours degree in the field of Computer Engineering.
