Sana Alwash

Sana Alwash has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Sana started their career as a Research Assistant at the American University of Sharjah in 2009. Sana then worked as an Organizer of the International Conference of Mathematics and Statistics in 2010. Sana continued their research work as a Research Student at the University of Toronto in 2012. Sana also gained experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator Assistant at LMC Diabetes & Endocrinology in 2015. In 2016, they transitioned into the education sector, working as a Mathematics Teacher at Oxford Learning Centres Inc. Sana has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a Pharmacist Assistant at I.D.A. Peckett's Pharmacy and as a Product Developer at Cyclica. Sana'smost recent role is at BenchSci, where they have held multiple positions including Lead Project Manager and Manager, Platform Delivery.

Sana Alwash has a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, obtained in 2019. Sana also has a Master's of Bioinformatics degree from the University of Guelph, earned between 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Honours Bachelor of Science with a Biology Specialist at the University of Toronto from 2010 to 2013. Sana's education began with a Double Major in Mathematics & Biology at the American University of Sharjah, where they were a Bachelor's degree candidate from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, Sana possesses various certifications including Investigator Site Personnel ICH GCP training certificate, Part C Division 5 Training, and Standard First Aid Course with CPR-C and PAD AED Degree.
