Michael Bell

Michael Bell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael started their career in 1985 as a Branch Manager at Westpac and later worked as a Business Development Manager at Trust Bank. In 1998, they transitioned to being a Licensed Real Estate Agent, working at Century 21 until 2001 and then at George Brand Real Estate until 2002. In 2002, they became the Franchise Group CEO at Bendigo Bank, overseeing multiple branches and contributing significantly to the community. In 2010, they became a Director and Life Member at Central Coast Leagues Club, where they represented the interests of the members and the wider community. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Director at Gosford Erina Business Chamber. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated their commitment to community engagement and business leadership.

Michael Bell has a diverse education history. In 1997 to 1999, they obtained a Diploma of Management from Deakin University, focusing on management theory, HR management, Australian economic policy, financial management, communications, and industrial relations. Michael furthered their education in 2000 to 2002 at the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales, earning a Diploma in Business (LREA) with a specialization in real estate sales, residential and commercial property management. In 2005 to 2007, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Banking & Finance from Monash University, studying business finance, finance law, financial institutions management, and the economics of money and banking. Continuing their professional development, Michael completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors' Company Directors Course in 2019 to enhance their expertise in company governance. Lastly, they obtained an Executive Certificate in Leadership & Change from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to further augment their leadership abilities. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Fellow of FINSIA (Financial Services Institute of Australasia) and as a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
