Krystyn Schmerbeck

Krystyn Schmerbeck currently serves as the Director of Masters Programs in Classical Education at Benedictine College, where responsibilities include developing and directing graduate-level studies in Classical Education. Previous experience includes roles such as Associate Head of School and Philosophy Teacher at St. Ignatius Catholic School, Principal at Lansing Catholic High School, and various leadership positions at Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School, including Latin Teacher and Servant Leadership Association Advisor. Prior to these positions, Krystyn worked in educational publishing and communications, including roles at IVE Press and the Archdiocese of Washington. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Education from the University of St. Thomas, a Master of Education in Catholic School Leadership from Marymount University, and a Master's degree in Public Policy from The George Washington University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Classical Languages from Hamilton College.
