Rachel Gunders

Rachel Gunders is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Senior Associate in Special Situations Investing and in Business Development and Investor Relations at Benefit Street Partners since February 2023. Previously, Rachel held the position of Associate Board Member at The Opportunity Network from January 2023 to February 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an Investment Banking Analyst and Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Macquarie Group, where Rachel focused on Leveraged Finance and Industrials, respectively. Rachel also gained experience as a Private Equity Summer Intern on the Buyout Team at Bow River Capital and as a Wealth Management Intern at Johnson Financial Group, LLC. Rachel obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematical Economics and Philosophy from Colgate University, where education was completed from 2017 to 2021, following graduation from Cherry Creek High School in 2017.
