Benevolent Marketing

If you’re a white collar professional and you run an independently owned firm or consult, and you’re struggling to stand out in a sea of sameness, this is for you. Here’s what we’ve experienced over the years: 1. Small businesses, especially in professional service industries, can’t compete on marketing spend. 2. This means you can’t hire the same creative talent as large firms. It’s a simple formula. Creative talent follows the money (they need to eat), which leads them to work at agencies who work with the biggest companies. It’s the “loop”. 3. This “loop” keeps small, independent shops, like yours, from building the kind of distinctive brand image that inspires trust (and we know that professionally designed creative builds trust). 4. Smaller independents struggle to build a distinctive brand presence and grow revenue beyond referrals. Nothing drives us more crazy than large, established incumbents winning business simply because they’re large and established. Why? Because we know that talent doesn’t just exist at the large corps. But customers don’t know this. All they know is the brand they see, which is large corp. In fact, as the owner of a small professional services firm, the service you deliver is often better and more personalized than what someone might get going to large corp. The reality is that you don’t have the money to spend on creative advertising to bring this to light. We’re setting out to change that. Benevolent Marketing is a creative agency with the sole intent of democratizing creative. What do we mean? We’re building a library of creative concepts for professional service providers (accountants, lawyers, insurance brokers, financial planners, etc). You choose what creative best represents you. You put more of your marketing dollars towards placing your ads out in the world, but that on LinkedIn, Instagram, your community bulletin or a billboard. We're making creative available to small businesses. Join Us.
