Andrea Rojas

Andrea Rojas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Andrea most recently worked at Circle as the Head of People Operations from October 2022 to the present. Prior to that, they held positions at Benitago Group, where they served as the Director and later the Senior Director of People Operations from November 2021 to May 2023.

Before their time at Benitago Group, Andrea worked at Runa as the Head of People Operations from October 2019 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the legal, ethical, and structural organization of employees and teams, as well as driving a results-oriented strategy focused on leadership and management.

Andrea also has experience in recruitment and HR. At Managed by Q, they served as the Recruitment Lead from July 2019 to October 2019, managing the full-lifecycle recruitment process and working to improve the candidate experience. Prior to that, they held several People Operations Manager positions, supporting designated geographic regions and carrying out HR responsibilities in employee relations, engagement, benefits administration, and employment law compliance.

Andrea began their career as a Human Resource Generalist at Chalet Guamuez from September 2015 to October 2017, where they handled recruitment, training, and employee relations. Andrea also has experience in media planning, having worked as a Media Planner at A&E Television from August 2014 to August 2015, and as an Account Executive at Mindshare from September 2013 to September 2014.

Andrea Rojas has a diverse education history. Andrea obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Florida International University, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Associates in Arts degree in Advertising at Broward College, from 2006 to 2008. Andrea further pursued their education at the Fashion Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained an AAS degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications. In 2014, Andrea enrolled at Nova Southeastern University to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Human Resources Management and Services, which they completed in 2015.

Additionally, Andrea Rojas has acquired several certifications in their career. In 2016, they obtained the TEFL/TESOL certification from CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange and the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management). Andrea also became a PET/KET Speaking Examiner through the Cambridge English Language Assessment in 2017. Most recently, in 2019, Andrea acquired the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
