Lindsey Sykes is a Partner and service line leader in Bennett Thrasher’s Financial Reporting & Assurance practice. He has experience serving companies from the startup and development stage to large multinational public companies. His industry experience includes technology, investment companies, manufacturing and distribution, and hospitality.
Lindsey began his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen. He later joined TRX, Inc. (TRXI) where he was named Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Lindsey was a key leader in growing the company from $26 million in revenues to $118 million while also significantly increasing cash profitability from a $4 million loss to a profitability of over $18 million. He led several capital raises and eventually took TRX public in a $63 million IPO.
In addition to core audit engagements, Lindsey has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence, deal structure, valuation analysis, fairness opinions, acquisition audits, SEC filings, post-closing negotiations, operational integration and purchase price allocation, capital raising, joint ventures, spin-offs, and international business.
Lindsey is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Georgia.
