Sarah Lowden has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Sarah began their career in 2008, working as a Talent Assistant for various media outlets, where they were responsible for coordinating schedules and providing comfort for talent and their teams. In the same year, they also worked as a Production Secretary for Canwest Canspell, where they managed the production office and facilitated communication between the production crew and talent.
In 2011, Sarah joined the Toronto International Film Festival as a Guest and Travel Coordinator, where they managed hospitality needs for guests, developed the TIFF Concierge Program, and hired event staff and volunteers. After serving in this role until 2014, they transitioned to The Mitchell Partnership Inc. as a Marketing Assistant, where they worked for a few months.
In 2015, Sarah joined Bensimon Byrne and started as a Media Assistant. Over the years, they have been promoted to roles including Media Planner, Senior Media Planner, Media Supervisor, Associate Media Director, and currently, Media Director.
Additionally, Sarah had an earlier experience in 2008 as an Office Coordinator at Insight Production Company, where they maintained relationships with staff and suppliers, managed documents, and maintained the company's schedule and contacts. Before that, they were part of the Student Welcoming Awareness Team at Brock University as a volunteer.
Throughout their career, Sarah has gained experience in media planning, marketing, event coordination, talent management, and office administration.
Sarah Lowden attended Centennial College from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Advertising Media Management. Prior to that, they studied at Brock University from 2004 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Studies of Arts and Culture. Additionally, Sarah has obtained several certifications including the Native Programmatic Certified from TripleLift in October 2017. Sarah also holds Google AdWords certifications in AdWords Fundamentals, Display Advertising, Mobile Advertising, and Video Advertising, although the specific dates of when they obtained these certifications are unknown.
