Melissa McKenzie Basham is currently the owner of WillPower Personal Training, a unique traveling and online personal training company. Melissa has a background in physical education, sports management, and athletic training and has worked in various roles such as Adjunct Collegiate Professor, Director of Recreational Sports, and Certified Personal Trainer. Melissa holds a Master of Education degree in Physical Education with a specialization in Sports Management and multiple Bachelor of Science degrees in Education with a focus on Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Melissa is dedicated to helping clients achieve their fitness goals and has a strong background in education and training.

Each year the Arizona Department of Education labels each school in the state based on a formula that includes AIMS scores, year to year academic growth, and graduation and drop-out rates. We are pleased to report that Benson Primary, Middle School and High School have all been labeled as Highly Performing. San Pedro Valley High School has been labeled as Performing which is the highest label that a charter school can receive.
