Neil H.

Neil H. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Neil started their career as a CIMA trainee accountant at Moore South Africa, managing the accounts of a portfolio of clients. Neil then worked as a Junior Manager at Moore South Africa, involved in billing clients and managing the planning of CIMA trainees.

Neil then moved to ZF Group as a Cost Management Accountant, responsible for monthly reporting and profitability analysis. Neil later joined Steinhoff UK as a Cost Accountant, where they introduced a robust costing process and worked on turnaround plans. Neil also participated in the Steinhoff Talent Development Programme, focusing on personal and professional development.

After Steinhoff, Neil joined Bensons for Beds as the Head of Business Intelligence, where they focused on data-driven decision making. Neil developed validated data sources for reporting and implemented Tableau for data management. Neil also created executive-level reports and an exception-based reporting system.

Throughout their career, Neil gained experience in data management, cost analysis, financial reporting, and team management.

Neil H. began their education in 2005 at Stellenbosch University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Accounting (Hons) until their graduation in 2009. In 2011, Neil enrolled at CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and completed their Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting in 2012. Neil furthered their education at CIMA, achieving the ACMA CGMA qualification in 2013.
