Silviu RUNCEANU

Silviu RUNCEANU has over a decade of work experience in the digital design industry. In 2005, they started as a Web Designer at Hostway Romania, where they designed websites and online marketing campaigns. In 2007, they moved to Avantaj Net as a Senior Web Designer, where they were responsible for a full-range of graphic design work for both digital and print projects. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Freelance Senior Designer at Retina Web Agency, producing interactive prototypes and product designs for various clients. In 2012, they joined X3 as a Visual and UX/UI Senior Designer, where they conducted UX, UI, Typography, and digital best practice workshops. In 2014, they became the Co-Founder and Head of Product Design at Save Potatoes, an UX/UI and Product Management team. Silviu also held the same position at Bent Pixels and Paladin Software in 2014 and 2016 respectively. In 2013, they co-founded Kiteops, an app that helps manage servers and apps/websites hosted on different cloud providers. Finally, in 2019, they joined Measure Studio as the Head of Product Design.

Silviu Runceanu has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, which they obtained in 2006 after studying Engineering from 2001 to 2006. Silviu also has a Diploma for Associate Programmer in Computer Science from The National College “Ecaterina Teodoroiu”, which they obtained in 2000 after studying Computer Science from 1996 to 2000. In addition, they have a Certified Web Professional - Site Designer (CWP) certification from The Ministry of Education and Research, Romania, which they obtained in August 2007.
