Michael Gelker

Michael Gelker has over 16 years of experience in the engineering field, currently serving as the Team Leader for Mechanical Product Mud Pumps at Bentec GmbH Drilling & Oilfield Systems since June 2007. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing design and calculations for high-pressure reciprocating pumps. Prior to this position, Michael worked as a Design Engineer and was involved in a diploma project focused on crank mechanism design for the drilling industry. Earlier experience includes a stint as a Werkstudent at Rheinmetall Defence Electronics. Michael holds a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Integrated Product Development from Hochschule Osnabrück, along with a qualification as a Technical Draftsman in Mechanical and Plant Engineering from Bentec GmbH.
