Roman Beck

Roman Beck currently serves as the Chester B. Slade Professor of Accounting and Information Systems at Bentley University and holds various academic positions including Guest Professor of Informatics at Halmstad University, Affiliate Professor in the Faculty of Science and Technology at The University of the Faroe Islands, and previously served as Lead Researcher and Full Professor at IT-Universitetet i København. Roman Beck is also the Head of the European Blockchain Center, an institution recognized for its contribution to blockchain research and solutions. Previous academic roles include Assistant Professor and Postdoc at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a. Main, as well as visiting positions at Australian National University, NYU Stern School of Business, and Georgia State University. Roman Beck co-founded XENUBE, a data co-operative platform created to address market needs following the 2008 financial crisis. The academic background includes a Doctorate in Management Information Systems from Goethe University Frankfurt.
