Sanjeev Shah

Sanjeev Shah has a diverse and extensive work experience across various industries. Sanjeev is currently working as the Industry Director, Infrastructure Cloud at Bentley Systems, where they focus on business development and ensuring users get the most out of their investment in Bentley Infrastructure Cloud. Prior to this role, Sanjeev served as the Executive Advancement Director and Senior Director at Bentley Systems.

Before joining Bentley Systems, Sanjeev was the Partner Strategy and International Development Director and CEO of GroupBC (Business Collaborator Ltd), a company they co-founded. GroupBC specializes in delivering Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms used for Building Information Modeling (BIM). During their time at GroupBC, Sanjeev worked closely with clients to help them achieve BIM Level II accreditation.

Sanjeev also held the position of Business Innovation & Technology Director at Unit4, where they focused on identifying and developing innovative products and services to differentiate the company from its competitors.

Prior to Unit4, Sanjeev founded and served as the Managing Director of UNIT4 Collaboration Software. Under their leadership, the company grew from scratch to a successful SaaS-based company, achieving or exceeding budgeted EBITDA each year. Sanjeev played a key role in sales and maintaining customer relationships at the C-Level. Sanjeev also successfully converted the business from a perpetual to SaaS-based model.

Earlier in their career, Sanjeev worked as a Software Engineer at Enviros, where they developed software for risk assessments and off-shore seismic exploration surveys. Sanjeev also worked as a Software Engineer at GlaxoSmithKline, where they developed software to assist with research into thrombosis and HIV.

Overall, Sanjeev Shah has a strong background in business development, project and asset information management, and innovative technology solutions in several industries including infrastructure, software development, and pharmaceuticals.

Sanjeev Shah attended Harrow Weald from 1987 to 1989, where they studied Chemistry, Physics, and Maths. Sanjeev then went on to study at South Bank University from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a 1st Class BSc (HONS) degree in Chemistry, Physics & Computing.
