Tony Cleveland

Tony Cleveland has a robust career in software development and architectural leadership, currently serving as Division CTO and Distinguished Architect for Industry Solutions at Bentley Systems since January 1998. Cleveland plays a key role in aligning business and technology strategies to deliver industry-specific solutions utilizing Bentley's digital twin platform. Additional responsibilities include chairing the Office of the CTO, where Cleveland collaborates with technology leaders to implement consistent organization-wide technology strategies. Prior roles at Bentley Systems encompassed leading international software development teams and managing projects that range from utility libraries to advanced engineering applications. Previously, Cleveland contributed to software development at Jacobus Technology and provided IT support at Bechtel. An alumnus of McDaniel College, Cleveland holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics.
