Billy Yau

Billy Yau is an experienced software engineering manager currently working at BentoBox since April 2023. Previously, Billy held similar managerial positions at Wayfair from August 2019 to August 2022, after serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer II there. Billy began a career in software with roles at TokenTax and Wayfair, including a position as Software Engineer I in Wayfair Labs. Billy's technical foundation includes a twelve-week immersive program in full-stack web development at General Assembly in 2016. Prior to transitioning to software engineering, Billy worked in the materials science field, notably as a Senior Research Associate at Cabot Corporation, a Materials Engineer at Hybrid Silica Technologies, and in product development at Dow Corning. Billy earned a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University in 2007.
