Joe Trummer has extensive experience in research and development, with a focus on the food industry. Joe started their career at Kellogg Company as a Lead Scientist from 2002 to 2005. Joe then moved to Sara Lee as a Senior Manager of Product Development from 2005 to 2011, where they managed the R&D team for the refrigerated and laminated dough group. From 2011 to 2014, Joe worked at ARYZTA LLC as the Director of Culinary Research and Innovation, managing the North American R&D team for the cookie, brownie, and muffin category. Joe'smost recent role was at Berber Food Manufacturing, Inc as the Director of Research and Development since 2014, focusing on new innovation for the Mi Rancho brand of Tortillas.
Joe Trummer has a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering (MS ChE) from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Joe also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University. In addition to their engineering degrees, Joe Trummer has received training in Culinary Arts and Chef Training from The French Culinary Institute.
