Valerie G. has extensive work experience in the hospitality and real estate industries. Valerie started their career as a Hotel Operations Intern at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur in 2010. Valerie then worked as a Food and Beverage Intern at Hyatt Regency from 2012 to 2013. Valerie then held various management positions in food and beverage at Lotte New York Palace, The London NYC, and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Valerie also worked as a Restaurant General Manager and In Room Dining Manager at The Peninsula Hotels. Valerie most recently worked as a Realtor at Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty. Currently, they hold the position of Corporate Director of Training & Development at Berg Hospitality Group.

Valerie G. has studied International Hospitality Management with a focus on Hotel Administration at Enderun Colleges. Additionally, they have pursued a field of study in Hospitality Administration/Management at Les Roches. Valerie has also obtained certifications in Trainer from TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) and ServSafe Food Handler from ServSafe. In 2015, they received a Food Protection Manager Certification from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Furthermore, Valerie has completed a course in COVID-19 Contact Tracing through Coursera.
