Christopher Pelaez

Christopher Pelaez is an experienced detective currently serving at the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office since November 2020, with prior detective roles at the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office from June 2017 to October 2020. Christopher's investigative background began as an investigator at the New Jersey Department of Children and Families from January 2015 to June 2017, following a position as a care manager at Hudson Partnership CMO, which lasted from September 2013 to January 2015. Earlier in Christopher's career, a role as a crisis intervention specialist at Family Intervention Services, Inc. was held from December 2012 to August 2013. Christopher also has experience as a facility manager and house crew member at the Department of Student Life from September 2008 to December 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science degree in Information Assurance/Cyber Security with a focus on National Security from New Jersey City University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Rutgers University.
