Michael Cooper has extensive experience in public safety and firefighting, currently serving as a Fire Investigator for the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office since January 2020, focusing on suspicious and fatal fire investigations. Since September 2020, Michael has worked in apparatus and equipment sales at Firefighter One, leveraging insights gained from leading a truck committee in their local fire department. Michael's career began in 2001 when joining the Mahwah Company Number 1 Fire and Rescue Auxiliary, and since August 2006, has held positions as a patrol officer and detective with the Saddle River Police Department. Michael shaped a solid educational foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science/Firefighting from New Jersey City University, earned between 2005 and 2009.
