William Diedtrich has extensive experience in law enforcement and public safety, currently serving as a Sergeant in Administration at the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office since 2010. William has held significant roles, including Detective in the Major Crimes Unit - Homicide Squad, where oversight of homicide investigations and suspicious deaths in Bergen County is emphasized. William has also contributed to the Confidential Investigation Unit, collaborating with local police agencies, and the Financial Crimes Unit, focusing on major theft and fraud cases. Additionally, William is actively involved with the Park Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, having served as Chief for three years, and previously worked as a Police Detective and Officer at the Hillsdale Police Department from 2004 to 2018. William holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice from Rutgers University and graduated from the Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute's Police Academy.
