Eric Cabrera Alvarez is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various counseling roles. Currently serving as a Clinician at Bergen Family Center's School-Based Youth Services Program since July 2021, Eric also provides group counseling for domestic violence victims as an ACT Group Counselor at JBWS. Additionally, Eric has been involved with RAINN as a NSAH Victim Services Support Specialist since March 2018 and serves as a PrEP Counselor with Buddies of New Jersey since October 2017. Prior experience includes working as a Case Manager for survivors of sexual assault at YWCA USA from January 2015 to December 2017. Eric holds a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
