Gerhard Hovland

Gerhard Hovland is an experienced tender and project manager with a career spanning over three decades in the engineering and fabrication industries. Since 2003, Gerhard has served as Tender Manager at Bergen Group ASA, overseeing all Fabrication Tenders. Previously, from 1997 to 2002, Gerhard worked as a Project Manager at Kværner International, managing studies and tenders concerning the refloat and disposal of the Maureen Platform. Prior to that, Gerhard held the dual role of Sales Manager and Project Manager at Kværner Installation from 1991 to 1997, where responsibilities included managing modifications and maintenance for Phillips Petroleum Amoco Norway and Esso Petroleum, along with all tendering activities for these clients. Gerhard's educational background includes training at Stavanger Technical School from 1981 to 1984.
