Joined Reckitt & Colman of Pakistan Ltd. as a trainee in 1970 and rose to the position of CEO by 1983. In 1991 was appointed as Regional head of Reckitt and Colman (now Reckitt Benckiser) for Pakistan to North Africa. Elected as President of the ‘Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry’, ‘Marketing Association’, and ‘Management Association’ of Pakistan. Founder President of ‘Pakistan Advertisers Society’ and ‘Pakistan Research Society’. In year 2000 was invited to join the government as Minister of State and Chairman ‘Export Promotion Bureau of Pakistan’. Later appointed as member of ‘Economic Coordination Committee of Pakistan’ and CEO of the ‘Trade Development Authority of Pakistan’ He has been on the Board of Directors’ of various local and international companies, in the private and public sectors, quoted on the Karachi/Stock Exchanges, for over 35 years, across industries such as Consumer, Pharmaceuticals, Petroleum, Energy, Food Processing, Philanthropic and Educational Institutions.
