Raja Roy

Raja Roy has a strong background in finance and accounts with experience in multiple industries. Raja worked at Berger Paints India as the Head of Business Finance, Dy. General Manager, Finance and Accounts from April 2018 onwards. Prior to that, they spent a significant amount of time at Asian Paints, starting as a Divisional Commercial/Finance Manager in the North from February 2006 to October 2009. Raja then moved to the East region as the Divisional Commercial/Finance Manager from November 2009 to June 2011, where they played a key role in setting up new warehouses and implementing the first 3PL operation. In July 2011, Raja Roy became the Senior Manager Commercial Finance for Asian Paints, overseeing logistics and administrative operations in the North and East zones, managing budgets and exercising budgetary control. Before their time at Asian Paints, they worked at Steel Authority of India Limited as a Junior Manager Finance and Accounts from May 2004 to February 2006, where they gained experience in various finance-related departments.

Raja Roy attended Calcutta University from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management. Raja then pursued further studies at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2000 to 2003, earning a CA (Chartered Accountant) degree in Accountancy. Along with their education, Raja Roy also holds a certification as a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
