Sumanta Gupta has extensive experience in engineering and project management within the electrical and automation sectors. Currently serving as Manager - Engineering & Projects at Berger Paints India since June 2018, responsibilities include overseeing the Electrical & Automation wing as part of the Corporate Engineering & Projects Department. Prior roles include Assistant Manager - Engineering at Emami Ltd, where leadership of engineering and maintenance was key, and various positions from Executive to Senior Executive in engineering operations. Early career experiences include leading a significant substation project at MPS Greenery Developers Limited and training as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at CESC Ltd., focusing on thermal power plant operations and electrical distribution systems. Sumanta Gupta holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from North Calcutta Polytechnic.
