Marcy Kott

Marcy Kott is the Principal of Berger Schatz, a position held since January 2013, where expertise in family law is demonstrated through smart, concise, and direct advice aimed at efficiently guiding clients through complex legal issues. Areas of focus include Alternative Dispute Resolution, financial matters, corporate valuations, asset protection, spousal support, child custody, visitation rights, and international abduction cases under the Hague Convention. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, obtained from 1989 to 1992, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Indiana University Bloomington, completed from 1985 to 1989. Marcy Kott also contributed to the UIC John Marshall Law Review during law school.
