Mike Treece, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Michael (Mike) started their career as an Audit Tax Manager at Romberger, Wilson & Beeson, Inc., a Southern California CPA firm. Michael (Mike) then moved on to work as a Controller at Berger Transfer & Storage, where they supervised a 10-person accounting department and played a key role in planning and integrating corporate acquisitions.
In 2003, Mike joined Gopher Electronics as the Controller and later progressed to become the Vice President Finance and CFO. Michael (Mike) led various areas of the company, including financial, HR, production, and warehouse operations. During their tenure, they also played a pivotal role in transitioning the company to 100% employee stock ownership.
After leaving Gopher Electronics, Mike took up the role of CFO, VP Finance in Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation, Logistics, OEM. Michael (Mike) was responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships, creating new channels, and identifying merger and acquisition opportunities in various sectors.
In 2017, Mike joined Star as the Chief Financial Officer before ultimately landing the position of Chief Financial Officer at Berger Allied Moving & Storage. Currently, they serve as the company's CFO, overseeing the financial operations and strategies.
Throughout their career, Mike Treece has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to drive revenue growth.
Mike Treece, CPA earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with an emphasis in Business - Accounting from Biola University. Michael (Mike) attended the university from 1984 to 1988. In August 1997, Mike obtained their CPA certification from the State of Minnesota Board of Accountancy, where they are currently listed as active.
