Ulysses Yarber

Ulysses Yarber is a Program Coordinator at the Berggruen Institute since May 2023, and serves as a Reader for Edmison/Harper Literary Scouting since November 2022, focusing on manuscript evaluation and advising international publishers. Ulysses gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology during Summer 2022, assisting students in Python and artificial intelligence. Previous roles include Editorial Small Group Intern and Associate at The Kenyon Review, where manuscript evaluation and training were key responsibilities, along with organizing editorial meetings. Ulysses has also worked as a Graphic Design Manager at Sunset Press, a Sound Technician at The Horn Gallery, and a Computer Science Tutor at Kenyon College. Prior internships include work with Wonderbly and Autumn House Press, solidifying expertise in manuscript proofreading and evaluation. Ulysses holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Kenyon College, completed in 2022.
