Sean Connell

Sean has more than 26 years in the HVAC industry, ranging from system design and installation to engineering and operations management in the US and aboard. Sean joined Bergstrom in 2004 focusing on designing Heavy Duty Truck No-Idle systems. During the next decade, Sean helped lead the No-Idle team and built the No-Idle and electrified business. Since joining Bergstrom, Sean has held several Engineering positions including Principal Engineer and Technical Director and Director of New Product Development. In 2014, Sean became the Director of Bergstrom X, Advanced Concepts. Bergstrom X was created to develop the future technologies that Bergstrom will use in the next decade. The success of the innovations from Bergstrom X has led to Sean now assuming the role of Vice President & Principal Engineer On-Highway, Transit & New Markets for North America.
