Mirant Shah

Mirant Shah has diverse work experience in various accounting and finance roles. In 2011, they began their career as an Article Assistant at VIPUL DALAL & Co. Chartered Accountants. From 2014 to 2017, Mirant worked as an Account, Audit and Tax Assistant at SHAH GANDHI & SHAH, where they provided tax advice and conducted bookkeeping for small to medium-sized partnership firms. In 2017, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Tim Hortons, where they used cross-selling techniques and improved customer satisfaction. Mirant also worked as an Account and Admin Assistant at Gradient Ascent AI from 2017 to 2018, where they handled ledgers, invoicing, and prepared financial statements. From 2018 to 2019, they held the position of an Accounting Bookkeeper and Finance Assistant at RT Woodart Ltd, performing tasks such as payroll preparation, government remittances, and bank account reconciliation. Mirant then worked as an Accountant at Creative Matters Inc. from 2019 to 2022, and is currently employed as a Senior Accountant at Beringer Capital. Additionally, they have worked as a Freelance Bookkeeper, providing services to small to medium-sized businesses.

Mirant Shah attended Lambton College from 2017 to 2019, where they studied Financial Planning and Wealth Management, with a focus on Financial Planning and Services.

In 2018, Mirant also completed a program at the Canadian Securities Institute, obtaining a degree in Investment Funds in Canada. This program focused on Investments and Securities.

Prior to Lambton College, Mirant attended The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Master of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance.

Before that, from 2011 to 2014, Mirant completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

In addition to their formal education, Mirant Shah has obtained several certifications. Mirant received a QuickBooks Certification from Intuit in May 2021. In May 2019, Mirant completed a course on Advanced Excel Formulas & Functions from Udemy. Furthermore, Mirant achieved the Investment Funds in Canada certification from the Canadian Securities Institute in August 2018.

Mirant Shah also holds various certifications from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. In June 2015, they completed the General Management & Communication Skills (GMCS) program. In November 2014, Mirant obtained an Accounting Technician Certificate. Prior to that, in August 2014, they passed the Chartered Accountant Intermediate Examination to earn the Chartered Accountant Intermediate Examination Certificate.
