Halyna MacEwen

Halyna MacEwen is currently serving as a Legal Extern at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and holds positions as Senior Submissions Editor and Senior Technical Editor at the Berkeley Business Law Journal. Previous experience includes a role as a Summer Associate at Latham & Watkins, where Halyna worked on privacy, white collar, and antitrust matters, and as a Legal Intern at Lyft, supporting various legal teams. Halyna's early career featured positions as a Contracts Associate and Senior Analyst at Dropbox, as well as roles at AIG in commercial insurance. Halyna holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and has also studied at the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.
